SURFACE AND UNDER GROUND PDS/CAS

ICAS is a critical safety system designed with reliability, robust hardware and production continuity as the key criteria. The GPS – VHF peer to peer system ensures that equipped vehicles and infrastructure are always visible and identifiable to operators via a simple intuitive graphical HMI display.

Underground:

The Patented Tri-Tech Becker Underground PDS is designed to prevent injury and possible loss of life during the operation of mining vehicles in close proximity to mining personnel. This system provides an early warning indication that alerts the operator to the presence and number of personnel and vehicles in the vehicle’s vicinity. This system facilitates bi-directional notification and alert messaging against potential collisions

COLLISION WARNING SYSTEM/SAFESITE

Machine vision (AI) system that detects and differentiates pedestrians, machines like ADTs, Dump trucks, Forklifts, Cars and other machines.

Stereoscopic vision system to measure distance to the objects detected.

NO RFID Tags required to detect pedestrians

Dynamic Zoning - The detection zone is automatically increased when the vehicle is travelling at higher speed compared to travelling at low speed. This allows the system to only detect objects that are dangerously close to the vehicle. SafeSite automatically measures the vehicle speed using GPS technology and dynamically calculates the stopping distance and warning zones of the vehicle before the object enters the danger zone where the vehicle would be unable to avoid an accident, the operator is warned to decrease speed or change direction. This allows the operator to react  responsibly and avoid an accident.

EdgeDetect has built in VIDAR that can detect the distance to the berm to prevent accidental damage to the berm when the machine is reversing. If there is a damaged/no berm, EdgeDetect detects over the edge events. Operators are then warned of this event.
